Youth Ministry
Smith Grove Baptist Youth Ministry has many fun and exciting opportunities for your teenagers. We minister to teens in seventh through twelfth grades, meeting Sunday nights at 5:30 pm for high school youth, and Wednesday nights at 7:00 for all teens. We look to have monthly activities including game nights, laser tag, concerts, and broomball. We are also attempting to become more mission minded by serving those in our congregation and our community. Bro. Matt
With school back in full swing, I thought it would be wise to remind everyone of our fall schedule. So here it is:
Sunday nights High School Youth – 5:30 – 7:00
Junior High AWANA – 5:00 – 7:00
Wednesday night 7 – 12th grades - 7:00 – 8:00
These are the meeting times so make sure to come out and join us and bring a friend. Along with our meetings we also have some activities coming up you may want to participate in. As with every September, we will be taking part in See You At the Pole (SYATP). This year it is on Wednesday, September 22. High School students are encouraged to meet at the flagpole in front of the schools main entrance at 7 AM, and then that evening there will be a community wide event with details to come. Please encourage your youth to come out and support this wonderful way to show their commitment to God and pray for our school, city, state, and country. Be watching for more events coming up as fall gets under way. Also some exciting news for this coming semester, I want to welcome Kirstie Reiling to the youth team. She serves in our worship team at Smith Grove and The Well, and this fall will be completing an internship with the youth program. Please pray for her as she works to fulfill her requirements will serving here.
